Also I need to say: I’m really happy with the evolution, it’s the best frame i’ve ever ridden. From visual to technical side, everythings just perfect. So thank you very much for building that frame.

Horripilante Jam Weekend

CartazOn April 25 we drove all together towards St.Tirso to spend the weekend and participate in Horripilante Jam.
During all the week it rained a lot but that didn’t stop anything, it was necessary to give only touches on some jumps, the event took place near the famous reguenga park’s on 26, the night before we went to the Rock fest, for a change it was a great night to begin with the dinner and ending at the concerts where Telmo decided to jump from the stage to do some “crowdsurf” where the crowd run and he fall on his back on the floor laughing at themselves and with lots of pain hehe, after that we went all sleeping in the house for which I thank Simão.
Day 26 to jam began with the BMX and MTB after, everything was going well until in my run ( just joking i told the speaker that i would jump the dirts to flat and so it was), great smack on the floor, then i was unable to ride more.
It was two great days apart from the spectacular falls, with riders from around the country and up to two riders from Argentina living in Malaga, great time all together, much heat from the burning sun, and so many diging.
You can see more stuff in here.

Concertos Dig Fall

————————————–

Handlebar small and tall

mutant bar small, grip area detailWe have been developing new products for such a long time. In November we received the prototypes of the new handlebars, that are being tested by our team riders. We decided to do the bars in cromoly for three reasons: lightweight, comfort and simplicity, has all the stuff we design. We are using full heat treated, multibutted sanko tubing, 22.2mm tube (same as bmx size bars), grip bar area with holes and with 25.4mm clamp spacer.

here are the specs:
back sweep 11º
up sweep 5º
wide 710mm/28″
height with 2-sizes (small is 75mm/2.95″ and tall is 90mm/3.55″)
weight only 400gr

These bars will be available in 3 colors (black, white and orange) and should be available in our distributors for May / June

Hope you like it.

Tour Summary

Tour Hotel Tour Dinis Truck Driver Step Up Tour Telmo 360 Step up

Tour Dinis Barspin  Tour Dinis Barspin Tour Telmo Tailwhip

——————————————————-

Well guys, some time after the tour here we are writing about it.

Day 1 – Arrival followed by a scene of street fight, then after the scene of violence we follow the roads towards Liverpool.
Day 2 – Travel to Liverpool, we did not ride because of the park closing hour and we didn’t have a place to stay.
Day 3 – Travel from Liverpool to Birmingham to go to the indoor park CREATION, first park of England whe rode and we were very happy with what we saw, step up, box, mini spine, vert wall, mini ramp, vert ramp and further some areas of street.
Day 4 – We slept in Conventry formula one and we went to the park ALLEY that is at Corby, a large park with a resi box, and everything else that might imagine in a park, very fun and complete, the resi was fun to ride, telmo loved and tried new tricks, daniel sent its first flipwhips, Milhinhos sent up for some tricks and fun and nelson tried the front, despite the pool was somewhat “low” in some parts was very good even.

Tour Packing Bikes Tour Dinis Air Tour Telmo Big Air Tour Dinis Spine Tobogan
Day 5 – Drive to go ride in the park Y2KBMX thus something of the kind, after a hundred Miles we found it abandoned in vandalized, decided to go ride in Corby, but once we arrived just opened at 18h and for the locals only, however in the middle of all a war of food within one of the cars from which resulted upholstery with bananas and nelson with a upper eye cue due to a flying can, then we went back to the Creation and enjoyed it even more than the first time.
Day 6 -With bags made we went to London , it is a bit chaotic but it is very funny, funny to the part where we got lost from paulito’s car, 4 hours of intense fightingto get out of London and there Travel to UNREAL park to go ride with Hank and Rob, the park owner kindly let us ride and was very nice to ride in a park like that, with fantastic bmx riders.
Day 7 – We went to sleep at Hank and Rob home in the famous city Tadley, then we picked up Luke to ride a funny out door park, then we went south for the Proper establishments, failed to ride in there because ramps were wet, we eat at a indian restaurant, same as always did our pranks with Jason, slept very good beside a very strong mixture of smells that hung in the air.

Tour Dinis Barspin Air Tour Dinis Vert Wall Tour Telmo Invert Tour dinis Tuck no hands Tour Telmo Invert
Day 8 – Woke up really early and make the bags, take the road to Luton airport again, at the same site of the original street fight there was some guys who wanted action hehe, but everything went well and we went to the airport where we awaited our private jet to return to this beautiful land.

That was a trip to remember and to do again, we find only two MTB riders but was indeed interesting, I-we thank everyone.
I think some people got more brains, or not, others learned new tricks and other simply enjoyed their own way and still there was a little time to see some UK attractions points, is only pity they ride their cars on the wrong side of the road eheh.
So thanks a lot everyone and soon we hope to do something similar.

Horripilante Jam

horripilante jamLast 8th December the third MTB street “horripilante jam” took place at 31Park

This jam had pilots from all around the country, from north to south, people from there and people who had never ride in 31park, despite the number of entries was a bit low. At 3 o´clock opened the park and since then the riders never stopped. In the afternoon the riders showed what they knew best how and already in training left major abuses.

The jam was divided park and biggest abuse to foam. In the park there were two runs of 2 minutes per rider. From the beginning the riders showed great progress, large wallrides from Telmo Lopes (Team Mutant), tailwhips from Pedro Dias “Gralha,” aerial barspin from André Dinis (Team Mutant). The progress of the jam was heating with with evryone riding very well, Henrique Santos was flying, Ruben Rodrigues send is first backflip, and people that are new on the sport were riding pretty good to, it was at the highest level. After the runs in the park then we went to the greatest abuse on foam, each rider could do 3 jumps to the foam and at the end the riders decided the biggest abuse, this award was given to the rider of the house Telmo Lopes, that throw a huge and perfect frontflip. As for the first classifieds at park, in 5 th place was Tiago Oliveira (Team Charge Bikes), in 4 of João Oliveira “Johny black” always with big aerials, in 3 º André Dinis send barspins about everywhere, in 2 nd place Pedro Dias ” Gralha “with tech tricks and about to hit the 360 tailwhip, and the big winner Telmo Lopes (Team Mutant), which succeeded the first place of the podium with a broad list of tricks (360-tailwhip – backflip) and always flowing at high speed in pool.

After that we saw the premiere of the film made by Simão Ferreira “horripilante 2”, a film of quality about dirt and street in Portugal.
After the cinema moment we went dinner and there were fill the belly, some of us went to the night to party, was an excellent jam we hope to begin to have more people.

Bellow there’s some photos and the full results chart, son more photos will be available.
This jam counted on the support of the Collective Store, Mutant Bikes and 31park.

Thanks to everyone.
———————————————————————-
